I am using this space as a therapy tool (cheaper than a psychiatrist), as a place to inform and help others going through infertility, as well as a tool to update family and friends.
House Tour
Nick & I searched for a house for many months. We went through over 75. Finally, in January, our realtor took us to a foreclosure on Grandview. I was pumped just to hear it was on Grandview. It was always such a beautiful street with so much to look at and enjoy. It always seemed as if the street was lined with happy families. It was love at first sight. The home was in need of a boat load of work, but that did not steer us away. We would end up redoing the whole house. We closed on it February 2007 and busted our tails remodeling. We finally moved in around June. Nick & I are still currently updating and improving as we go. We have just about done every room in the house. Our future plans include a retaining wall in the backyard, landscaping the front, and redoing our upstairs bathroom. Nick has done most of the work himself with some help from friends and family. His ADD definitely gets in the way... he loves to start new projects before old ones are completely done. I can't complain though, because I can barely tell the difference between a drill and a screwdriver. We have turned a house into a place that I love coming home to.
